How long have you been at Meaningful Gigs and what is your role?

I've been working at Meaningful Gigs for two and a half years now. I am the Director of Partnerships and work with clients to understand their design needs and challenges in order to provide the best solutions for them.

Where are you currently located?

I'm in New York City but I'm also a world traveler.

What parts of our mission do you connect with?

Creating jobs on the African continent. As an economics major, I learned about the ripple effect of someone's income on their local community.

What has your experience been with our company culture?

It has been like having another family and is a close community that cares about each other beyond the work we do together.

What is your team like?

The Sales team is vibrant and collaborative; we're all willing to help each other.

How have you grown professionally while at Meaningful Gigs?

I have improved my relationship-building skills and my ability to ask distinct questions to learn about clients' challenges in order to best advise them.

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

Remote work. I am a world traveler and being able to see the world while working is a blessing.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, live music, and both playing and watching American football.

What’s some advice you would give to someone starting their career in sales?

Have a consistent discipline, work harder than anyone on the team, listen and ask distinct questions to clients, identify which clients are serious and which are not, and be ready to convey to clients what makes you different from your competitors and why they should work with you.
